Community Energy Conservation Program
The CEC Program helps municipalities become energy-efficient by providing rebates for identifying energy-saving opportunities and implementing retrofits in municipal facilities.

Funding Availability:
Municipalities can receive up to $500,000 in support for energy audits and retrofits in various municipally owned facilities. Conditions apply.
- Energy Audits: Get up to 50% of pre-GST audit costs covered, up to $7,500 per facility
- Retrofit Projects: Receive 25-50% of pre-GST project costs, depending on the abatement rate
- Retrofit Project Bonus: Earn an extra 10% rebate if your project reduces facility-wide emissions by 20% or more
